Lucky bastard

A friend of mine survived a car crash last saturday, got a fractured leg and a multifractured arm and a punctured lung. They had to use saws and power tools to get him out of the wreck -- his passengers could exit the vehicle without help. He's in a good mood but slightly irritated, no smoking and no solid food.

I got the call from another friend who had just been visiting him at the hospital, gave me the skinny on the accident... a meeting car had slid over and crashed into my friends car.
I'm gonna go visit later this week.
