Trains...

... have you ever heard about "shortage of railway tracks"? nah, but i did tonight when I was on my way home from my GF... we had to wait... for about 10 minutes... because all the were being used at the moment... that sucks...

well, i arrived home... about 30 minutes late...

Got a reply from BradFitz about data I sent him to improve LJ...
"Wow! This kicks ass!

Thank you! I love data like this...."

... replies like this makes me smile...

A few hours...

... before I can go home... I'm really tired... and bored... I have no energy to do anything besides what I'm supposed to do... and that makes other stuff suffer... like working on the company web site... at the moment I don't care... wanna go home and go to bed early...

Random surfing...

... been surfing the Intel CPU site for the last hour... interesting to see how the x86 CPU has grown and developed over time... from 2300 transistors to several millions... in a period of about 30 years... wonder how cars would look and work if the same growth scale would be applied... tiny as a matchbox and run at speeds close to speed of light... maybe? Combustion engines ARE stone-age and far too "analogue"... Car makers doesn't follow the technical evolution...
Yeah right

To add further...

... a friend of mine, had his car stereo stolen tonight... not the regular type of car audio system... but the high performance type... probably a crackhead-junky who needed a few bucks for a quick fix... or a lot of quick fixes...

If i ever get a drivers license (sigh) I'll put in a low cost stereo as a mock-up... and hide a high performance MP3/CDA box somewhere in the car...

I finally fixed his box... after many turns and twists... like an electronic puzzle I managed to fit working parts together and even got Win98 to understand that some parts were there too...
